Jun 26 Fri US Supreme Court announced the legalization of gay marriage on all 50 states.
It happened that SF PRIDE parade was at the following weekend! If you don't know what PRIDE parade is, check out the website: SF PRIDE
"celebrating self, celebrating diversity, standing against LGBT discrimination, speaking out for one’s ideals, honoring LGBT history, recognizing friends and allies, or standing for a loved one lost."
It was my first time joining LGBT event. I can't think of any similar activity in Taiwan.
It was HUGE! There were several stages with musical performance around civic center. Lots of people dressing colorful and crazy wandering or dancing on the street. I was dancing all day too ;-p
Almost everyone I know living in the SF city joined this event.
