Surf City - Hermosa Beach

Recently I started to learn surfing since it's almost the end of snowboarding season. My first attempt was in San Diego and then Ventura. Then vagabonding to Hermosa beach (Manhattan beach to Redondo beach) and really love the beach here. Thanks to the awful traffic, I've lived in LA area for a while but never really (want to) come to beach. 

I smelled the oil when I was swimming. Then found myself get oil stain on wetsuit and my feet. It made me sad and worried about marine animals...

Stay in a hostel "Surf City" at Hermosa Pier which is 30s walk to the beach. Biking around in the afternoon and taking photos of surfers. I guess I like to take photos of it more than surfing itself.

Still hope I can stand on the board one day.

Boat trip & chill @Newport Beach

I found these picture while organizing my hard drive and so much memory surged. The family I lived with invited me and my friend going to the boat trip at Newport Beach with them and two Japanese girls. Japanese girls were in a week-long exchange program in the high school where Liora was studying. It was in February but it was not cold (of course SoCal!)

Tioman Malaysia - Diving paradise

I got my open water diving license in Tioman, Malaysia when I was studying in Singapore earlier this year. One of my friend tried her first dive around the beach and she loved it. Another friend who already fell in love with diving got his advanced license here.

Night diving was another amazing experience that I would never forget, especially the battery of my flashlight was dead...

Diving with huge sea turtles / Sunbathing on the beach / Having good Asian food / Riding scooter at night / Walking on the street with few tourists - One of the best relaxing journey with my best friends.

No underwater photos because I haven't bought a GoPro yet.
