2014 summer I went on a road trip with my friends who are also Taiwanese designers. One of my friend was going back to Taiwan and she was fascinated about desert. So Death Valley was the first stop of the trip. I highly not recommended to go to this place in summer.
It was 110°F = 43 °C
The maximum time I could bear with was 10 min when I got out of my car.
Have heard a lot of good things about Joshua tree national park but didn't have a chance to go. One day I woke up and decided to drive there from Pasadena by myself. It was beautiful and a little bit chilly in winter.
